3D Models

Now that I've started using 3DS Max and sort of figured it out I'm addicted to it. I haven't drawn much lately because I've been spending all my free time working on the models. I really really really want to learn how to unwrap the models so I can use Photoshop to paint them but I haven't found a decent tutorial for it and I'm using an old copy of 3DS that doesn't have the UVW unwrap built in.

I'm sure once I get that part down I'll be making photorealistic scenes in no time...but for now my models look flat. If anyone can help me out with some tuts or advice, I'd be thrilled to listen. Thanks!

Also if anyone wants to use my models in a game mod or anything, let me know. I'll also do requests as long as the model is within my skills. I'm pretty confident that I can model any weapon currently in existance so just let me know.
